Terri and I finally reached that special moment of taking measurements and tracking the progress of my fitness goals. To my surprise, I’ve lost 2 inches off my waist and I lost an amazing 6% of body fat. I couldn’t believe it, but I learnt that the muscle mass is increasing and evidently, eliminating the body fat.
It was a total success that I have achieved thanks to my determination and regular working out with Terri. I never believed that I would see such results, but everyone can do it, with the right motivational, savyy and energetic Terri.
I’m continuing to work out only imagining what the next readout will show.
Hoping to get up early tomorrow to hit the gym in the morning. Try it, too.

Low motivation…well paid off

Even though I had to drag myself to the gym yesterday, the euphoria and hormonal flow I experienced after the workout was well received. I was aching a lot from the day before yesterday, yes…when Terri pushed me so far as to realize how many more muscles my harmstrings have. I wasn’t sure whether I could work out yesterday. Luckily, I was scheduled to work my upper body, so being sore in my lower body was just a weak and lousy excuse of my mind wanting to get away from a healthy lifestyle.
I hit the gym and worked out using my legs on the bike. All those aching muscles knew that they had to hang in there and toughen it out. It felt so good afterwards…I really pushed myself and made sure to use my core even more so due to the weakness of my legs. I felt so rejuvenated that I even sprinted home. Today is my day off before I get measured tomorrow. I’m very sure the results will be supporting all the effort that I put in in the last two months. Until then, happy working out!

Keep it going

I have been following my workout routine religiously these past weeks. It has really become a joy to work out and feel pumped up afterwards. I never thought that I would say that. But currently, it fits just right into my lifestyle. No strain, no hassle, just pure fun. Luckily, the public gym is not too crowded which is a key. Otherwise, waiting for equipment or room can bring down the motivation down. I recommend to pick a time and a spot when one is not bothered by the crowd-that is if you have the luxury of a flexible time schedule.
Tomorrow, I’ll head to the gym for my upper body. Already now, I feel the blood pumping in my legs from today’s workout.

On top of the game

Overall a very successful week. I stuck to my program, worked out on my own as well as with Terri. Felt my muscles’ soreness and am happy with the progress I made. In a couple of weeks, I’m due for measurements-and that will be the real deal. Black on white will I see how well I did and how my body changes. Until then, I keep on working out and keep my spirits up especially when I feel that I didn’t do so well during my workout. Hope you do, too.

It doesn’t take so much

Here’s for all those that thought that obsessing over working out and its quantity would bring you to your goal faster. I worked my lower body the other day and really didn’t do it excessively. The following day, I felt a nice soreness around my hamstrings and my butt. It amazed me how much it affected my body even though I didn’t kill myself working out.
And for the record: I was in and out of the gym in less than an hour. What positive insight.

Workout for the brains!

Yesterday during my workout, I finally came to the realization that there is no WONDER-, QUICK-FIX program. I do start realizing however, that my body is changing. I learnt that with the right technique, motivation, and patience things actually fall into place - gradually! Changing your body takes some time, as it did to get to that body in the first place. So hang’ in there everyone! I’ve been working out consistently for less than two months and I’m witnessing the changes with my own eyes. Be patient and don’t let your ambitions become you mental enemy.

Energy through working out

Thanks to my last workout, I woke up the following morning and felt this burst of energy. It made it so much easier going to the gym that day. I worked myself very hard to the point that I sweat so much like never before. Today, I felt the easing pain in my muscles - yet another level of endurance and a step closer to my fitness goals. I earned my day off, but am looking forward to my next workout.

First week of the new year

Well, it’s no surprise that in the first week of every new year, the gyms are packed with driven and motivated people. It was a bit of a hassle getting through my workout today. But luckily, I found my corner with dumbbells and executed my routine.
I experienced an adrenaline rush within the hour after the workout, and now I’m getting a bit tired. Thanks God that I don’t have to hassle myself with my old job and dragging myself through the night. Now I can rest after my workout and most importantly, focus entirely on my healthy lifestyle. Looking forward to another sole session at the local gym before Terri pushes me beyond my limits. I can’t wait…
