After six months of Terri’s supervision and advice, I have eliminated 9% of bodyfat (5″all over). I started with a bodyfat% of 37.9% and I’m now 29.1%! My body is toned, and I have learned a way to work out without hating it. The results come over the long term. My impatience in the past, has lead me to give up too soon. I recommend Terri as a trainer. She kept me motivated and focused on my goals. Her spirituality has helped me to take a step away from my self-destructive past. I’m looking forward to the future and am eager to maintain my results and achieve higher goals.
Had two very busy weeks. I only ended up working out twice last week, however, maintained my healthy intake and still felt very good. Going back to a full workout week. Im in good shape, alas. Now, it really doesn’t take as much to get results (or that is because I’m stronger, I don’t feel as if I have to work hard enough). Hitting up the gym for a spin tomorrow.
I had a phenomenal workout today. I implemented the exercises that Terri taught and really provoked some sweats today. I feel completely rejuvenated after the workout. When I went to the gym, I was very tired, and now I’m feeling refreshed.
It’s a major criteria to learn something that I can do on my own. Tomorrow, I’ll be boxing at Terri’s - that should be exciting as well.
Can’t believe my eyes… after 4 consistent months of working out with Terri and an additional two times on my own, I am finally seeing that my belly is getting smaller. Lat time with Terri, we did Yoga. Don’t be deceived by thinking that Yoga “does not burn many calories”. All the twisting and maintaining the “right” positions kept me surprised the day after. I felt new places aching. I cannot tell how motivating these results are. Today, I had a light day of cardio. But Terri’s abs exercises really changed my view of working out. I am actually looking forward to my abs exercise every time I’m training. Six-pack… not far away.
The other day, I was introduced to the trampoline. I never thought that it would be so effective in working my muscles and be so much fun, on top of it. I love the trampoline. The fact, that it prepped my hamstrings for my lower body exercise, was great. Yesterday, when walking down the street, I felt new ache spots that I never felt before. Good ones, of course, since we want to get that crispy butt. I had so much fun, that I tried it on my own at the gym accompanied with a full upper body workout. It felt great and was super fun. So here you have it: Working out can be FUN.
After an all-round workout with Terri yesterday, I felt my body searching for some rest today. I felt tired very early today, whereas normally I am struggling with going to bed earlier. Today, my body was naturally looking for some bedtime.
On top of everything, I am sore in my legs and my shoulders. The first time for a long time. I started thinking that my muscles aren’t responding anymore. But here we go-seems like we all got a little wake-up call. This blog is short, since I want to stay within my window and get some sleep.
As I was twisting, turning and extending myself for the last few weeks, I got to realize that it helped me overall when executing other exercises, for example abs workout. It is so much easier to ground my feet now, since I’m overall connected in doing so when I practice Yoga. Evidently, my abs exercise was more successful. I can easily do 300 crunches on my own. In a little while, the fat over the abs will melt away.
…that’s what I would have said before I met Terri - and another day, another week, another month would go by. When in fact, I learned that I have to make time for certain things, such as working out. To my dislike, I want to train myself to get up and work out in the morning before the other big challenges of the day. So far, it didn’t work out at all. I’m sleeping like a baby - 10 hours or so every night. I wake up just on time to get ready for my professional day. But that has got to stop. I’m planning to go to bed by midnight. I want to hit the gym tomorrow at 8a.m. I have to because not only is there a spinning class, but also no more time in my schedule afterwards. If I cannot make, I will lose another possible day of working towards my goal. So wish me good luck and hopefully you’ll hear from me afterwards. Sweet dreams…dreaming of my strong WILL and DEDICATION.
Terri and I finally reached that special moment of taking measurements and tracking the progress of my fitness goals. To my surprise, I’ve lost 2 inches off my waist and I lost an amazing 6% of body fat. I couldn’t believe it, but I learnt that the muscle mass is increasing and evidently, eliminating the body fat.
It was a total success that I have achieved thanks to my determination and regular working out with Terri. I never believed that I would see such results, but everyone can do it, with the right motivational, savyy and energetic Terri.
I’m continuing to work out only imagining what the next readout will show.
Hoping to get up early tomorrow to hit the gym in the morning. Try it, too.
Overall a very successful week. I stuck to my program, worked out on my own as well as with Terri. Felt my muscles’ soreness and am happy with the progress I made. In a couple of weeks, I’m due for measurements-and that will be the real deal. Black on white will I see how well I did and how my body changes. Until then, I keep on working out and keep my spirits up especially when I feel that I didn’t do so well during my workout. Hope you do, too.
