Definitions promised.

I’m awaiting my measurements this week and I’m dying to find out what my bodyfat percentage will be. Thanks to the last 5 months disciplined, consistent and supervised working out alongside Terri, I am seeing some serious definition in my thighs, my abs, and alas my upper arms (my personal problem zone). It would be too good to be true, if it all came and fell into the place - the results, that is. That’s why, I have to continue with my workout procedure. It’s hard since I have a lot going on in my life. But I guess, I just have to consider it as part of my daily life, such as food. Hitting the spinning bike in the morning. G’ nite….zzzzh

Relaxing workout

I always enjoy doing Yoga. It is relaxing, but at the same time working deep muscle tissue. The twisting of the body gives an additional energy boost. Got some sweating done, and my workout checked.

Sweat it out, baby

I took it casually today in the gym, and by that I mean I only did cardio on my new favorite spinning bike. An entire hour of heavy sweating cleared me from toxins, fat deposits, and instead gave me an energy boost. When I tried to squeeze in some abs exercises (the ones I learnt from Terri) all the other gym members were staring. It’s new to them, especially when I do extended crunches on the rubber lozenge. The hell with these people…I got my 300 crunches in, and look forward to plenty of privacy in Terri’s PRIVATE GYM tomorrow. P.S. I see my fat slowly disappearing from my problem zones. Join in!

Excellent workout

I had a phenomenal workout today. I implemented the exercises that Terri taught and really provoked some sweats today. I feel completely rejuvenated after the workout. When I went to the gym, I was very tired, and now I’m feeling refreshed.
It’s a major criteria to learn something that I can do on my own. Tomorrow, I’ll be boxing at Terri’s - that should be exciting as well.

I’m really losing my belly

Can’t believe my eyes… after 4 consistent months of working out with Terri and an additional two times on my own, I am finally seeing that my belly is getting smaller. Lat time with Terri, we did Yoga. Don’t be deceived by thinking that Yoga “does not burn many calories”. All the twisting and maintaining the “right” positions kept me surprised the day after. I felt new places aching. I cannot tell how motivating these results are. Today, I had a light day of cardio. But Terri’s abs exercises really changed my view of working out. I am actually looking forward to my abs exercise every time I’m training. Six-pack… not far away.

Always a new surprise

Every time I go to train with Terri, I am positively surprised. She always changes up the program, introduces me to new exercises. As we worked the lower body yesterday, I kind a knew what to expect. Hell no! Brand new exercises. The body gets eventually used to the same workout and does not benefit of it. All the step ups, step downs, and squat-jumps made me search for some breath. Today, I am nicely sore awakening my butt muscles over again. Did I mention that I got stronger? Doing step ups with 15lbs. weights was a piece of cake. Just two months ago, I was struggling to the point where I thought I would never get through that workout.

Boxing is my new workout buddy

Since last week at Terri’s, I learnt to work my back muscles, but also vent my frustration through boxing. Of course, it took a while to learn all the right punches and moves, but evidently, it was a hell of a great time. Tonight, I will go on my own and box my anger away (or boredom). It’s important to not hurt oneself. On several occasions, I already did hurt myself in a minor extent. But with the wraps and the right size boxing gloves, one is safe. I had so much fun, I didn’t even realize that I was sweating, hence working out.

Expanding my workout

The other day, I was introduced to the trampoline. I never thought that it would be so effective in working my muscles and be so much fun, on top of it. I love the trampoline. The fact, that it prepped my hamstrings for my lower body exercise, was great. Yesterday, when walking down the street, I felt new ache spots that I never felt before. Good ones, of course, since we want to get that crispy butt. I had so much fun, that I tried it on my own at the gym accompanied with a full upper body workout. It felt great and was super fun. So here you have it: Working out can be FUN.

My body is tired

After an all-round workout with Terri yesterday, I felt my body searching for some rest today. I felt tired very early today, whereas normally I am struggling with going to bed earlier. Today, my body was naturally looking for some bedtime.
On top of everything, I am sore in my legs and my shoulders. The first time for a long time. I started thinking that my muscles aren’t responding anymore. But here we go-seems like we all got a little wake-up call. This blog is short, since I want to stay within my window and get some sleep.

Boxing…a new territory

After Terri advised me to take a Yoga class or Boxing class, I was a little bit reserved. I’ve taking boxing classes years ago and was quickly turned off since the instructor just didn’t give a damn. Well, earlier today I’ve taken one boxing class and my disappointment was yet again confirmed. The instructor rather took the time to squeeze in his own workout as opposed to keeping track on the clients’ posture etc.
He also created a whole circuit/boot camp out of that class which made everyone pretty much moving at all times. Well, at least that was good. Thanks to Terri and her teaching me the basic boxing techniques, I simply applied those at my own pace. When we’re up at push-ups, I did those that I usually do with Terri. And finally, my abs exercises (which I got to love, believe it or not) were easily applicable as well. So even though the boxing class was a let-down, I was moving around for a steady 60 minutes and got some rehearsal time before I will show my form to Terri at our next personalized boxing class. So long.
