I woke up this morning and the headache is still there! I didn’t workout again. I took the day off work. Hopefully I’ll get rid of this thing sometime soon and still be able to get a workout in this afternoon.
To make me feel worse, I’ve gained 2lbs. I was hoping the weight was water.. but after a week, I have to face the truth.. it’s not water, it’s me.
So… I decided to figure out where I added the weight. I took my measurements. I didn’t notice anything significant, other than a 1 inch gain in my shoulders and a slight gain in my neck (Gee.. I didn’t even know you could add inches there!). I lost 3/4 inch in my waist, but I found it in my hips. :)

I’m going to mark today up as an officially missed workout day. My head never stopped pounding (no matter what drugs I took!). I did walk the dogs.. they weren’t going to cut me any slack for a little headache.
Now it’s time for dinner and I have no appetite and no idea what I’m going to eat <sigh>.
After I figure out what I’m going to eat, I’m going to wash my face, brush my teeth.. put on my jammy’s, take some more allergy medicine and watch the 2 hour biggest loser in bed… um.. the TV show. :)
This morning I woke up with a horrible headache. I don’t know if people in New York have alergy issues like we do in Texas, but everytime the weather changes, stuff starts stiring in the wind. I’m sure my headache today is an alergy headache, but it’s a killer. If I cough or clear my throat or bend my head over (to dry my hair), my head feels like it’s going to explode.
I’m sure you know where I’m going with this. I skipped my early morning workout today. Of course, I still have all day to get it in before it is classified as an actual “missed” workout.
My workouts are still off by one day this week. Last week I had to move them from Mon-Thur to Tue-Fri. This week I had to do the same thing. But I’m still getting it all in and haven’t missed a workout since I started with Terri.
My eating is not that bad, but I get tired of it. I just hate having to think about eating. I still have a tendency to forget sometimes. Fortunately, one of my doggies is a natural service dog. If I’m at home and it’s a meal time, he won’t let me skip it. He keeps pawing at me and walking to the kitchen.. back and forth until I finally give in and fix something to eat. Once I start eating, I’m fine.. my problem is just stimulating the appetite.
Oh yeah, I did 2 sets of 25 pushups Monday. I’m still working toward 50!
After a slow start this week, I think I may be back on track. I didn’t workout this morning because I needed to fix that squeaky Treadclimber first. So, I took half a day off and did a little shopping (for the treadclimber lubricant and groceries).
After I fixed the squeak, I did my Tuesday workout. It was a really good workout. I figure I can add the Ab work I missed yesterday to my last workout of the week. That one is always a little shorter than the rest and doesn’t have any Ab in it.
I almost messed up on my eating today. I forgot all about breakfast until I got to work. Fortunately, someone reminded me we have a food court on our campus. I ran over there and picked up a breakfast sandwich. I actually felt a little proud of myself :).
Lunch was a little late. It was after 2pm and I was just leaving the grocery store. I started to grab a bag of cookies and start snacking on my way home.. but then I remembered.. that’s a no-no. If I ate the cookies, I wouldn’t be hungry when I got home and wouldn’t eat lunch. So I grabbed a bottle of water and left the cookies alone.
Dinner was easy (since I have a kitchen full of groceries now).
Breakfast - Egg and Cheese sandwich (on a small hamburger bun).
Lunch - Turkey Bologna and cheese sandwich (on whole wheat Croissant).
Dinner - Marie Callender’s TV Dinner (Honey Roasted Chicken, mashed potatos, green beens); Roll; salad w/ Ranch Dressing.
